於右任 書法鏡片 A Chinese calligraphy poem in ink on paper by Yu Youren and dedicated to Dawei. The calligraphy has 1 seal and is mounted on a silk backing.
Dimensions are: 27 1/2 inches tall X 13 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in good condition.
Provenance: From the estate of Mr. & Mrs. Martinson in northern Minnesota. Mr. Martinson's grandparents Andrew and Anna Martinson went to China in 1903 and Mr. Andrew Martinson died in China in 1913; the couple's son, Mr. Harold Martinson, our collector's father, was born in China, as was Mr. Martinson himself in 1931. The present Mr. & Mrs. Martinson later served as missionaries to Hong Kong in the 1960s.
