Chinese Calligraphy by Yu Youren

A Chinese calligraphy in ink on paper by Yu Youren. The calligraphy has 1 seal and a dedication to Naiqi. It is mounted on a silk backing.

Dimensions are: 46 1/2 in. tall X 15 3/10 in. wide, 118.1 cm tall X 38.9 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: The paper has darkened with age, shows spotting, and the surface may have been treated.

Provenance: From Mrs. Kwoh in New Jersey, by descent. The calligraphy by Liang Hancao and the Pu Ru couplets were given to Yang Shufang, Mrs. Kwoh's aunt. The calligraphy by Yu Youren was given to Guo Naiqi, Mrs. Kwoh's father-in-law.
