Chinese Carved Agate Brush Washer, 18th Century

A Chinese carved agate brush washer dating from the 18th century. The brush washer features lingzhi and a bat.

Dimensions: 2 inches tall X 3 1/2 inches wide; 5.1 cm tall X 8.9 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: There is a large inclusion, and area of repair, and a small chip to 1 swirl.

Provenance: Purchased from Ashkenazie and Co, a famous San Francisco, California Jade Gallery. Ashkenazie and Co started in 1976 and is among one of the most respected jade dealers in North America.
