Chinese Carved Agate Snuff Bottle, 19th Century

A Chinese 19th century agate carved snuff bottle. One side features the carved figure of Liu Hai and a frog while the other features a carved flower motif. It comes with a stopper and a spoon.

Dimensions are: 3 inches tall X 2 1/4 inches wide,7.62 cm X 5.72 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Possible area of impact by the flower, chip to the rim and lid, and natural inclusions to the stone.

Provenance: From the estate of Mr. Mullen in Upstate New York. Mr. Mullen was a world traveler and collected from different countries from the 1950s to the 1980s.
