Chinese Carved Huanghuali Stand Element, 18th Century
A Chinese carved Huanghuali stand element dating from the 18th century. It has a central panel which features a pierced roundel of a wealthy man with a pair of attendants in a landscape with a pine tree. The man holds a ruyi wand and one attendant holds a potted plant. The central panel is topped by a carving of a phoenix.
Dimensions are: 21 inches tall X 7 inches wide X 13 inches deep while leaning, 53.3 cm X 17.8 cm X 33 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: There are multiple areas of repair.
Provenance: From a Midwest estate.
