Chinese Carved Jade Qilin Disc on a Wooden Stand.

A carved pierced jade disc displaying a qilin in medium relief surrounded by scrollwork. The verso displays a chased qilin. Accompanied by a fitted footed wooden stand. Apparently unmarked. A partially illegible seal is affixed to the verso. Total approx. weight of jade is 49.8 g (gross). From a Queens, NY estate. Dimensions: disc measures approx. 2.125" in diameter.
