late 19th/early 20th century, each chair modeled with a sectional horseshoe-form crest rail centered with a flaming pearl design, with arms terminating in dragon heads, having asymmetric trellis design supports, over a carved and pierced backsplat depicting a ruyi bat amid a geometric scroll design, above a solid seat set within a thick frame, with dragon-head frieze, the whole raised on four cabriole legs with ruyi bat knees and scroll-form feet, the two-seat settee similarly designed.
