Chinese Celadon Longquan Tripod Censer, Yuan or Ming
A Chinese celadon tripod censer dating from the Yuan or Ming dynasty. The exterior has incised lotus decoration.
Dimensions are: 5 1/4 inches tall X 12 inches wide, 13.3 cm X 30.5 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: There is chipping to the bottom and firing defects. Minor use wear.
Provenance: From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area. The items were acquired from various auction houses including Christie's and Sotheby's prior to the 1990s.
