A Chinese coral carving of a lady dating from the early 20th century. The lady holds a lotus in 1 hand and a bird in the other.
Dimensions: 5 1/2 inches tall X 3 5/8 inches wide, 14 cm tall X 9.2 cm wide. Weight: 153.7 grams. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: A small chip to the bird and to the petal of 1 flower.
Provenance: From Mrs. Hillebrand in Chicago. Her father-in-law purchased these items in China and Hong Kong between 1935 and 1970. Lots 79-90 from our March 14, 2019 auction were from the same collection.
