Chinese Coral Snuff Bottle Carved with Women,19th

A Chinese coral snuff bottle dating from the 19th century. The snuff bottle is carved with two women; one is accompanied by butterflies while the other is holing a basket of peaches.

Dimensions are: 1 3/4 inches tall X 1 1/8 inches wide, 4.4 cm tall X 2.9 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: The snuff bottle is in good condition, but has no stopper and the cork and spoon are broken off inside the snuff bottle.

Provenance: From Mrs. Kolich in Phoenix, Arizona, by descent through multiple generations of her family.
