Chinese Dayazhai-Style Square Vase, Republic
A Chinese square porcelain Dayazhai-style vase dating from the Republic period. The black and yellow ground sides depict a bird among grapevines with flowers and 4 bats at the corners, while on the foot and mouth are famille rose.
Dimensions: 11 1/4 inches tall X 4 3/4 inches wide; 28.6 cm tall X 12.1 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: A hole has been drilled in the base, a few glaze chips, overall good condition.
Provenance: From a private collection in Maryland.
