It’s wonderfully carved of a pale jade green serpentine. Both the body and lid of the vase have floral rose and leaf decorations on them, and the base of the vase has a small bird as well! The base is ornately carved wood. This piece is just beautiful! Circa: Early Republic, 1920s-30sDimensions: 8 inches tall with lid. 5.5 inches wide, 3 inches thick. Weight: 1.5 lbs. Condition: Very good, this piece is in great condition. There are a few small pieces like leaves which have broken off, the pieces are included in the purchase in case you wish to repair them, but they are barely noticeable.
