A large export pink ground famille rose porcelain jardiniere heavily decorated with enamel bats, floral scrolling leaf motifs, and four hand-painted enamel windows filled of birds, cherry blossoms and each having a Chinese poem; the bottom is unglazed. Character marks to reserves. Approx: h. 12.25", w. 14.5". Provenance: From the Private Collection of a gentleman, Atlanta, Georgia.
Condition Report: Minor pitting to edges of planter, non-distracting enamel loss commensurate with age and use. Tiny loss to glaze on rim. Minor firing / glazing imperfections.
