Chinese Export Gilt and Black Lacquer Dressing Mirror

The oval adjustable mirror within a gilt-decorated frame surmounted by a shaped urn-form cresting flanked by circular medallions, supported on shaped scrolling uprights, above a stepped rectangular cabinet fitted with two short drawers over a long drawer, the drawer fronts decorated in gilt with floral sprays and scrolling foliage within shaped borders, the sides similarly decorated, raised on bracket feet.
Height 31 1/2 inches (77.5 cm), width 16 1/2 inches (42 cm), depth 11 inches (28 cm).
