Chinese Famille Rose Dragon Plate, Tongzhi
A Chinese famille rose oval bowl dating from the Tongzhi period. The bowl has a foot with a 6-character mark on the bottom. The exterior depicts 8 multicolored dragons with a wave motif, while the interior is turquoise glazed.
Dimensions are: 3 inches tall X 9 1/2 inches wide, 7.62 cm X 24.13 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Several small glaze chips, wear to the interior, 1 small area of overpainting to the rim. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
