Chinese Famille Rose Incense Holder, Qianlong Mark
A large Chinese yellow-ground famille rose incense holder with a 6-character Qianlong mark and of the period. The egg-shaped incense holder is tall with a flared foot and a tall handle on its lid. The body features lotus tracery and geometric bands of leaves and ruyi throughout. The lid has a band with pierced designs of peonies. The top of the handle is red with gold-toned details like petals. The 6-character mark of Qianlong can be found along the rim of the lid.
Dimensions are: 17 3/4 inches tall X 7 1/2 inches wide, 45.1 cm X 19.1 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: There is a small chip to the rim of the base, but it is in overall good condition. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
