Chinese Famille Rose Liuhai Plate, Republic
A Chinese famille rose plate with Liu Hai in the center dating from the Republic period. Liu Hai and his toad are surrounded by an elaborate, colorful band of ruyi and flowers that decorates the rim of the plate. The bottom has a 6-character mark as well as "CHINA."
Dimensions are: 1 1/4 inches tall X 10 inches wide, 3.2 cm X 25.4 cm. All measurements are approximate.
