Chinese Flambe Frog Water Dropper, 19th Century

A Chinese frog-shaped flambe porcelain water dropper dating from the 19th century.

Dimensions are: 2 3/4 inches tall X 5 inches wide, 7 cm X 12.7 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: There is one repair to the vine in the frog's mouth.

Provenance: From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area. The items were acquired from various auction houses including Christie's and Sotheby's prior to the 1990s.
