Chinese Gilt Bronze Buddhist Figure, 18th Century
A small Chinese gilt bronze Buddhist figure dating from the 18th century. He sits in dhyanasana on a double lotus pedestal with his left hand facing downward and his right hand near his chest in the shuni gesture. He has a bodhisattva appearance with jewelry and a crown over his tall double layer top knot.
Dimensions are: 1 1/2 inches tall X 1 inches wide, 3.8 cm X 2.5 cm. Weight: 34.4 grams. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: There is general age wear including minor gilt wear.
