Chinese Hand Mirror with White Jade Insets, 18th
A Chinese hand mirror dating from the 18th century. The mirror features an inlayed jade plaque and a jade dragon-hook handle. The dragon hook shows a carving of a Chilong and the plaque is carved in low relief depicting lotuses, flowers, a vase, and li yu fish.
Dimensions are: 7 3/4 inches tall X 4 1/4 inches wide, 19.7 cm tall X 10.8 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in good condition.
Provenance: From a Dr. Wang in Northern California. Dr. Wang is a retired professor from the School of Business at California State University.
