Very fine hand embroidered with Forbidden Stitch and metallic gold wrapped silk threads highlights on black brocade background. Ladies’ court robe - depicting pavilions with ladies and court officials, blooming gardens, landscapes and Buddhist Ruyi heads auspicious symbols; framed with hand embroidered border, featuring attendants and landscape design with flowers and butterflies.
Condition: Very good overall antique condition, no buttons, but one, small loose threads, some soils and wear commensurate with age and use.
