Chinese Imperial Flambe Vase,Guangxu Mark & Period
A Chinese Imperial red flambe vase with a 6-character Guangxu mark on the bottom and of the period. The quatrefoil vase has engaged handles and a low relief peach shaped roundel.
Dimensions are: 12 inches tall X 6 3/4 inches wide.
Condition: It is in good condition.
Provenance: From the estate of Mr. Kwok Woon Kun, formerly a shareholder of Wing On Company, a well-known department store group in Hong Kong and Shanghai. This collection was collected in Hong Kong prior to Mr. Kwok's death in 1969. His collection was shipped to Canada in 1981 and was inherited by Mr. Kwok’s daughter and grandson.Â
