Chinese Inside-Painted Snuff Bottle, Ye Zhongsan

A Chinese inside-painted snuff bottle by Ye Zhongsan. The snuff bottle features a scene of scholars in a landscape continued on both sides, a signature, inscription, and 1 seal. The exterior of the snuff bottle has 2 guardian lion heads carved on the sides.

Dimensions: 2 7/8 inches tall X 2 1/8 inches wide; 7.3 cm tall X 5.4 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: A few small chips to the rim, overall good condition.

Provenance: From a Connecticut gentleman's private collection; assembled over the past 25 years.
