Chinese Inside-Painted Snuff Bottle by Chen Dongshun
A Chinese inside-painted snuff bottle by Chen Dongshun. The sides feature carvings of lion heads holding engaged rings. The bottle includes an inscription, one seal, and depicts harbor scenes on the front and back. It has a coral glazed stopper with a spoon.
Dimensions are: 2 3/8 inches tall X 1 3/4 inches wide, 6 cm tall X 4.4 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in good condition.
Provenance: From Mr. Kung in Vancouver, Canada, inherited from his father, who acquired this item in Hong Kong and had it shipped to Canada before the 1970s. Lots 194-198 from our auction on Sept 6th, 2019 were from the same estate.
