Chinese Inside-Painted Snuff Bottle by Ding Hong
A Chinese inside-painted glass snuff bottle by Ding Hong. One side has an inscription and depicts a man and child looking out of a window. The opposite side shows 2 children riding a water buffalo. The snuff bottle has a jadeite stopper.
Dimensions are: 2 3/4 in tall x 2 1/4 in wide, 7 cm tall X 5.7 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: it is in good condition, though the stopper has no cork or spoon.
Provenance: From Mr. Kung in Vancouver, Canada, inherited from his father, who acquired this item in Hong Kong and had it shipped to Canada before the 1970s. Lots 194-198 from our auction on Sept 6th, 2019 were from the same estate.
