Chinese Inside-Painted Snuff Bottle by Dong Xue

A Chinese inside painted glass snuff bottle by Dong Xue. The glass stopper has a spoon. The snuff bottle features an inscription with 1 seal, and depicts scenes of mystical women flying on birds on the front and back.

Dimensions are: 2 1/4 inches tall X 2 inches wide, 5.72 cm X 5.08 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: It is in good condition.

Provenance: From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area. The items were acquired from various auction houses including Christie's and Sotheby's prior to the 1990s.
