Chinese Inside-Painted Snuff Bottle by Wen Xiangjun

A Chinese inside-painted snuff bottle by Wen Xiangjun. The sides of the bottle have carvings of stylized ruyi and a ring. One side, which features an inscription and 2 seals, depicts a scene of a bird beneath a pine tree. The opposite side depicts 2 figures on a path through bamboo. The snuff bottle has a glass stopper with a spoon.

Dimensions are: 2 1/4 inches tall X 1 inches wide, 5.7 cm tall X 2.5 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: It is in good condition.

Provenance: From Mr. Kung in Vancouver, Canada, inherited from his father, who acquired this item in Hong Kong and had it shipped to Canada before the 1970s. Lots 194-198 from our auction on Sept 6th, 2019 were from the same estate.
