Chinese Inside-Painted Snuff Bottle by Zhang Tieshan

A Chinese inside-painted glass snuff bottle by Zhang Tieshan. Both sides of the bottle feature an inscription and two seals. Each side depicts a figure in a moonlit landscape.

Dimensions are: 2 1/2 inches tall X 1 1/2 inches wide, 6.4 cm X 3.8 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: It is in good condition.

Provenance: From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area. The items were acquired from various auction houses including Christie's and Sotheby's prior to the 1990s.
