Chinese Inside-Painted Snuff Bottle by Zhou Leyuan

A Chinese inside-painted glass snuff bottle by Zhou Leyuan. One side of the bottle features two inscriptions, each with one seal, and depicts a scene of scholar's items with lingzhi and a blossoming tree. The other side of the bottle depicts insects on a tree. It has a glass stopper with a spoon.

Dimensions are: 2 3/8 inches tall X 1 5/8 inches wide, 6 cm X 4.1 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: It is in overall good condition.

Provenance: From a private Great Falls, Virginia collection.
