Chinese Jade Bi Disc, Warring States Period
戰國 玉谷紋璧 A Chinese jade bi disc with a grain pattern dating from the Warring states period.
Dimensions are: 1/8 inches tall X 2 1/8 inches in diameter. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Age appropriate wear.
Provenance: From Mr. Lee in Houston, TX, father collected in Taiwan prior to 1980s. A similar jade Bi from the late Warring States period, is illustrated in _Zhong Guo Yu Qi Quan Ji_, Vol. 3, Hebei: Hebei Fine Arts Publishing House, 1993, pl. 148 (fig. 1).
