A Chinese jade bi dating from the Ming dynasty or earlier. The bi features a chilong on one side and a grain pattern on the other.
Dimensions: 3 1/2 inches diameter; 8.9 cm diameter. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in good condition with natural seams and inclusions.
Provenance: From Mr. Zaun’s collection in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Zaun lived in Taiwan with his wife in 1967-68 and began his interest in Chinese history and artifacts there. This item was purchased from the Jade House in Chicago, Illinois.
