Chinese Jade Bi, Shang or Western Zhou Dynasty

商代/西周 玉璧A Chinese jade bi disc carved on each side with 2 stylized dragon bands and dating from the Western Zhou dynasty.

Dimensions are: 3 1/4 inches in diameter. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: It is in good condition.

Provenance: From Mr. Lee in Houston, TX, father collected in Taiwan prior to 1980s. A similar dragon bi disc sold at Christie's Hong Kong November 28, 2018 lot 2730. A similar jade Bi dating from the Western Zhou dynasty is illustrated in _Zhong Guo Yu Qi Shang Jian_, Shanghai: Shanghai Scientific and Technical Publishers, 1996, pg. 19 (fig. 1).
