A Chinese jade deer dating from the 18th century with a wood stand. The deer has a lingzhi in its mouth.
Dimensions are: 1 1/2 inches tall X 2 inches wide, 3.81 cm X 5.08 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: The lingzhi is broken at 3 points.
Provenance: From Mrs. McClellan in Las Vegas, Nevada. The piece was acquired in Beijing and Hong Kong from the 1980s to the early 1990s.
