Chinese Jade Carved Figure, Ming Dynasty

A Chinese jade carving dating from the Ming dynasty. The carving depicts a shamanic figure wearing a deerskin.

Dimensions: 3 3/4 inches tall X 1 1/2 inches wide; 9.5 cm tall X 3.8 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Two chips to the base.

Provenance: From Mrs. Anshin in Sacramento, California; acquired in Hong Kong prior to the 1980s.
