Chinese Jade Carved Lock, 18-19th Century

A Chinese jade carving of a lock dating from the 18th to the 19th century. The lock features a 4-character blessing on 1 side and a landscape on the other with a frame of 2 mythical beasts.

Dimensions: 2 inches tall X 3 inches wide; 5.1 cm tall X 7.6 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: It is in good condition.

Provenance: From Mrs. Anshin in Sacramento, California; acquired in Hong Kong prior to the 1980s.
