Chinese Jade Carved Sachet with Stand, 18-19th Century
A Chinese white jade sachet with a hanging stand and coral bead dating from the 18th to 19th century. The snuff bottle-shaped halves of the jade are cut out and feature a pair of bats by a vase with a stylized Shou character.
Dimensions are: the jade measures 2 inches tall X 1 3/4 inches wide, 5.1 cm tall X 4.4 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Very minor chips and wear from use.
Provenance: From a Dr. Wang in Northern California. Dr. Wang is a retired professor from the School of Business at California State University.
