Chinese Jade Carving of Monkey on Horse, Ming

A Chinese jade carving dating from the Ming dynasty. The carving depicts a monkey riding a horse, referring to "Ma Shang Feng Hou".

Dimensions are: 2 inches tall X 2 1/2 inches wide, 5.1 cm tall X 6.4 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Age-appropriate wear.

Provenance: From a Dr. Wang in Northern California. Dr. Wang is a retired professor from the School of Business at California State University.
