Chinese Jade Chilong Bi, Ming Dynasty or Earlier
A Chinese jade bi dating from the Ming dynasty or earlier. The bi is carved with a grain pattern on one side and a pair of Chilong on the other.
Dimensions are: 2 1/4 inches tall X 1 3/4 inches wide, 5.72 cm X 4.45 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Area of repair.
Provenance: From the estate of Lim Kee Chin, who was Singapore's trade commissioner to Hong Kong in the 1960s. Mr. Lim acquired these items while he was in Hong Kong.
