Chinese Jade Disc, Longshan Culture

紅山文化 玉環A Chinese jade disc dating from the Longshan culture.

Dimensions are: 3/16 inches tall X 4 3/4 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Overall good condition.

Provenance: From Mrs. Kwan in Northern California, by descent from her parents, who collected in Hong Kong over 40 years ago. A similar bi disc was sold at Sotheby's Hong Kong April 8, 2010 lot 2018. A similar jade Bi plaque from the Longshan Culture, is illustrated in _Zhong Guo Yu Qi Quan Ji_, Vol. 1, Hebei: Hebei Fine Arts Publishing House, 1993, pl. 38 (fig. 1).
