Chinese Jade Dragon Plaque, Ming
A Chinese white jade rectangular dragon plaque from the Ming dynasty. The plaque has a four-clawed dragon amongst lotus tracery.
Dimensions are: 2 1/2 inches tall X 3 1/4, 6.4 cm tall X 8.3 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Chip in one and a crack in another; others are in good condition. Natural seams to the stone.
Provenance: From Mr. and Mrs. Young in Sacramento, California, acquired in Hong Kong prior to the 1980s.
