漢代 玉土沁色龍型佩 A Chinese mythical beast jade toggle dating from the Han dynasty.
Dimensions are: 2 1/4 inches tall X 1 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Age appropriate wear.
Provenance: From Mrs. Kwan in Northern California, by descent from her parents, who collected in Hong Kong over 40 years ago. Two similar jade toggle but both in shape of birds, dating from the Western Han Dynasty, can be found in _Zhong Guo Yu Qi Quan Ji_, Vol. 4, Hebei: Hebei Fine Arts Publishing House, 1993, pl. 73 (fig. 1).
