Chinese Jade Hairpin and Jade Brooch, Yuan-Ming
A Chinese jade hairpin and a silver brooch, both of which date from the Yuan to Ming dynasty. The hairpin has a carving of a phoenix and lotus. The brooch is inset with a jade phoenix cut-out carving.
Dimensions are: the hairpin measures 5 inches tall X 3/4 inches wide, 12.7 cm tall X 1.9 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Both are in good condition.
Provenance: From a Dr. Wang in Northern California. Dr. Wang is a retired professor from the School of Business at California State University.
