Chinese Jade Plaque of Taotie, Western Zhou

西周 玉雙鳥紋節飾 A Chinese small jade plaque carved with taotie dating from the Western Zhou period.

Dimensions are: 1/2 inches tall X 1 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: It is in good condition.

Provenance: From Mr. Lee in Houston, TX, father collected in Taiwan prior to 1980s. Another archaic jade plaque was sold at Bonhams November 9, 2017 lot 235.
