Chinese Jade Scabbard Slide, Ming or Earlier

A Chinese jade scabbard slide with brown skin dating from the Ming dynasty or earlier. The slide is incised with Chilong.

Dimensions are: 2 3/4 inches tall X 1 inches wide, 7 cm X 2.5 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: It is in good condition with natural variation to the stone.

Provenance: From a private Northern Virginia collection.
