Chinese Jade Snuff Bottle, 18-19th Century
A Chinese white and black jade carved snuff bottle dating from the 18th to the 19th century. The jade is carved with a mountain landscape scene with a boat in a river, a fisherman, and a farmer driving an ox. The snuff bottle's green glass stopper has become unattached from the cork and spoon.
Dimensions: 2 3/4 inches tall X 1 3/4 inches wide, 7 cm X 4.4 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in good condition.
Provenance: From a Connecticut gentleman's private collection; assembled over the past 25 years.
