Chinese Jade Statue of Buddha, Ming or Earlier

A Chinese jade carving of Amitabha Buddha dating from the Ming dynasty or earlier. He sits in dhyanasana on a double lotus pedestal with his hands in his lap holding a bowl. There is a mandorla or torana behind him.

Dimensions are: 2 inches tall X 1 1/4 inches wide, 5.1 cm X 3.2 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: There is chipping throughout. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
