Chinese Jadeite Necklace, Republic Period
A Chinese jadeite beaded necklace dating from the Republic period. The necklace has graduated beads.
Dimensions: the largest bead measures 3/8 inch diameter; 0.9 cm diameter, the necklace is 16 inches long; 40.6 cm long. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in good condition with natural inclusions to the stones.
Provenance: From Mrs. Hillebrand in Chicago. Her father-in-law purchased these items in China and Hong Kong between 1935 and 1970. Lots 79-90 from our March 14, 2019 auction were from the same collection.
