Chinese Jadeite Ring and Cylinder, 19th Century

A Chinese jadeite ring and carved cylinder dating from the early 19th century.

Dimensions: 2 1/2 inches tall X 5/8 inches wide; 6.4 cm tall X 1.6 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Both are in good condition.

Provenance: From the estate of Mr. Kwok Woon Kun, formerly a shareholder of Wing On Company, a well-known department store group in Hong Kong and Shanghai. This collection was collected in Hong Kong prior to Mr. Kwok's death in 1969. His collection was shipped to Canada in 1981 and was inherited by Mr. Kwok's daughter and grandson. Items from the same collector were sold at our September Fine Asian Art and Antiques auctions, 2019.
