Chinese Kangxi Blue & White Porcelain & Silver

Fine Chinese Kangxi circa 1700 Blue & White Porcelain Plate with a design of Figures and a horse in a garden, the plate with floral border; now mounted with 2 sterling hinges and a sterling beaded handle across the diameter to form a fruit basket, the sterling work with 3 sets of 19 century hallmarks probably Dutch. The porcelain with age related light wear to inside surface and a few small glaze frits to the border; the silver hinges bolted on. Diameter 10 3/4 inches (27.3 cm.).
