Chinese Kesi Embroidery Panel, 19th Century

A Chinese kesi embroidery panel dating from the 19th century. It depicts a scene of a warrior pledging himself to a mystical woman with attendants.

Dimensions are: 32 3/4 inches tall X 12 inches wide, 83.2 cm X 30.5 cm, while the frame measures 34 3/4 inches tall X 13 3/4 inches wide, 88.3 cm X 34.9 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: There is staining and bleaching throughout. There are numerous pulled threads.
